Hotel Dischma is at Vicolo Geretta 6 in Paradiso, an independent municipality on the shore of Lake Lugano, right on the edge of the city. Lugano-Paradiso station is 150 m away, the nearest bus stop a two-minute walk, the Monte San Salvatore funicular and the boat landing stage about 300 m; the lake is a few minutes on foot.
Vicolo Geretta 6, 6900 Paradiso (Lugano), Svizzera
By train, get off at Lugano-Paradiso, one stop from Lugano's main station, where IC trains from Zurich arrive through the Gotthard Base Tunnel and EC trains from Milano Centrale. City bus lines 1 and 2 serve Paradiso; because of the Via Carona works, the Paradiso Scuole stop towards Lugano is suspended, so use Paradiso Fontana instead.
From Milan Malpensa airport the TILO S50 runs to Ticino every hour without changes; from Linate and Bergamo you travel via Milano Centrale. The Ticino Ticket does not cover the journey in, nor is it valid in Italy. Drivers need the 2026 vignette for Swiss motorways; to leave the car there is an underground garage across the street.

The seasonal funicular up Monte San Salvatore, running since 1890, leaves from Paradiso itself: in winter 2026/27 it is closed from 9 November to 12 March. Monte Brè has its own funicular from Cassarate. In town, Parco Ciani, Piazza della Riforma and the arcades of Via Nassa are worth a stroll, and the LAC, 850 m away, is home to the MASI art museum.
Lake boats leave from the Paradiso landing stage, with the full timetable from late March to mid-October. The Olive Trail leads from Castagnola to Gandria in just over an hour; Morcote, with Parco Scherrer, is about ten kilometres away and Swissminiatur in Melide a few minutes by train. From 26 November 2026 to 6 January 2027 the town centre hosts Natale in Piazza.
